The little church of St. Matthew, Monkswood was packed with joyful people this morning as we witnessed Rev’d Canon Dr. Stephen James licensed as associate priest, by Bishop Cherry. We sang heartily, gave flowers to everyone who wanted them, in honour of Mothering Sunday, and then spilled out into glorious sunshine. Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make the morning such a wonderful celebration.
