Parish Connection

Traditionally, people get married in their local parish church, or one with which they or their family have a specific strong connection. This information will help us direct you appropriately. 


If you do not live in the parish, this information will help us to establish your legal grounds for eligibility to marry in this church.
There's no need to be concerned if you're not British, but the legal requirements for the marriage of non-UK nationals may require different steps. Knowing this information helps us to direct you appropriately and ensure that your marriage will be legally valid.

About the Groom

This information is required for submission to the local Registrar, and will appear on the wedding certificate when you receive that from the Newport Register Office. Please use the full, legal names for all persons, including any middle names. If you have more than one middle name, include them both/all in the middle name box.
